that was very lovely...too bad my scope guy blabbed through the little speech Ed gave beforehand.

I just wanted to help someone who was hurting, and while I do appreciate the comments, this is something that needed to happen, and Awesome Ed got all 3 requests from the board in the show, and a dedication to a friend and they played the best set I can remember off the top of my head, truly one of those magical nights that just happens, when everything comes together.

thanks, Eddie got choked up on stage when he was talking about them, so obviously he read this thread, he actually read all the request ones, and played them all. Tonight was proof that at least sometimes the band does read the board, so have faith Jammers :)

Can't wait to hear this version. Ed is a true gent. I always get emotional when i hear the dedications. My first was at Wrigley hearing Ed speak about Sarah and Adam (or Andy as he called him - no big deal, as Adam says) really had me welling up. Thoughts are with Valerie - sending much strength and PJ love.

Absolutely shows that the guys take interest in the fans, and check the boards. However, after last nights highly emotional show and song requests played, and the reasoning for these songs played puts a little things in perspective (for me at least anyway), when I am selfishly making a song request for myself on the threads. Requests like these should have priority over all others. I will definitely give more attention to situations like these (if any) for any of my upcoming shows before putting anything up anything about a song I would like. This also really shows how certain songs reach out and grab certain fans (certainly they have for me, and have helped me through some tough times) and how they have the power to heal. Fans like Noah, Valerie, PJNB, and his Wife, Joshua and his parents stina1118 just to name some. This is the best band ever, and the fact that they look out for their fans the way they do just makes each and everyone of them incredible human beings. Thank you guys for all you do. Thanks Big Bank Hank for making it happen.

Thanks, she said she fell to her knees when she heard Ed mention their names, and she is so overwhelmed and appreciative. His first show was 03.01.1992, and hers was Montreal 1998, and when she told him that was her first show, he said he had the bootleg, back then they were unofficial of course. Just an amazing moment.
