I actually side with you on this BUT the one brightside is the money is going to LGBT charity

Imagine how much money would have gone to charity if they gave half of the proceeds from the concert. The posters and shirts is minimal, compared to that.

I normally balk at buying merch from shows that I didn't go to, but I have to say it is a pretty awesome looking poster with some history behind it. Love the red "cancelled" on it. Long story short, the advocacy groups in North Carolina have got a $50 contribution from this Canadian.

Had tickets to the show. Pretty happy that I was able to snag this poster. Was bummed at first but respect the bands decision

Mine to. I also bought the shirt too. I've tried to stop buying PJ shirts. I have WAY too many closets worth. This one I couldn't pass off knowing it's for charity.

Not sure. The other day, after someone else cancelled a concert here in NC, the news reporter was going through a list of major cancellations....Bruce, maroon 5......no mention of Pearl Jam at all.

Ok then. But no one in NC talks about Pearl Jam cancelling. It was an ok call, but playing and giving the $ and making a statement would have had more legs, in my opinion.

Nobody outside of North Carolina would have heard about it if they played the show. The band did the right thing.

what exactly did it accomplish though?

This is just simply not true. Paypal pulled out. City and state governments were banning governmental travel to NC and MS. It was well on its way to the courts where it will be decided.

    @ Mike Fudge

Hey everyone! I'm really excited to release the official poster I created for Pearl Jam's 4-20-2016 show in Raleigh, North Carolina! It is available NOW on my web store! The show was cancelled due to Pearl Jam's opposition to the HB2 Law that was recently passed in North Carolina ( more information on Pearl Jams website ) but fortunately the print will still be released on Pearl Jam's website in the near future.

    18" x 24"
    8 Color Screen Print
    Metallic Gold/Blue Inks
Signed and numbered artists edition of 100
    $50

    Available at www.mikefudgeart.bigcartel.com
Did any of that money get donated to fight HB2??? EQUALITY NC.
