    How anyone who likes the ROCK band Pearl Jam can like the adult contemporary easy listening Future Days confounds me. I LOVE Pearl Jam and I honestly tried to wrap my head around this but I seriously just don't get it. I'm not one of the rock out gotta be loud and fast kinda guys. My favorite PJ songs are the down tempo stuff. I LOVE Around The Bend. Hard To Imagine. Nothingman. Indifference. Low Light. Thin Air. The slow stuff is my jam. They almost lost me with Just Breathe but I could see how some people would like it and I admit it finally grew on me... but Future Days? Really? How did we go from Black to this? I just DON'T GET IT!! Someone help me out?

    EV is happily married with kids. Thank god he's still not writing Black :lol: (my favorite song of all time).

    It's not the lyrics that bother me re: Future Days. it's the music. It just doesn't live up to my expectations.

    I've only seen this song once live way back in '93 and that was so early on that I wasn't even familiar with the tune back then. So I would be happy if they broke this bad boy out in Tampa as I barely missed seeing it twice now on the past two European tours.
