I go cold turkey 30 days out. Been listening to a lot of gaslight and 21 pilots lately. Nothing better than hearing the first few notes of a PJ song you haven't heard in awhile and being reminded how amazing it is.

The only time I listen to PJ on heavy rotation... and pretty much the only time I listen to the older albums. most times it's boots, boots, and more boots.

None of the above I guess. I don't seem to change my listening habits at all before a show, so it just depends on whether or not I happen to feel like listening to PJ during that week. The upcoming show doesn't factor in I don't think.

A few days before the show I get real quiet and try not to talk to anyone about it and just brace myself for what I am about to see/hear.
If a song comes on the radio in the car I get pissed and turn it off before the first chord is even through.

I've been on a Bruce Springsteen kick the last few weeks and I expect that to continue through to the Philly and MSG shows. Can't wait for 4/28/16 to get here though

Afterwards I go into depression haha. But this time I see them in April May and August so it's spread out a lot.

A bit of PJ daily...90% PJ on the drive to the show...all PJ for weeks after

I listen to them a lot still but I cut out bootlegs a few weeks before a show.
So just studio stuff a lot. Until after that first show, then all hell breaks loose again.

I plan on listening to an album a day, started Sunday with Vitalogy, then No Code today, Yield, Binaural, Riot Act, Avocado, in that order. My wife and I plan on watching PJ20 Friday night then being at the airport for 5am for a our flights to Miami.

The thing is, it doesn´t matter whether you listen too much or too little before the show, the fresh element is always guaranteed at a PJ show

good poll i often wonder the same thing, i ll listen to a bit pearl jam a couple before show but nothing on show day.

Changing strategy..no more PJ til Hampton show..gonna try to stay away from setlists also..dont want to know what was played or not played.
