Moonlander

Such a great album. For me, up there with the best of the side projects...Mad Season, ITW, etc.

Nice listen on vinyl as well...good as anything PJ has put out from a sonic perspective.

Creativity flows from the Gossman.

I'd consider trading a black RNDM for this.
    Canadian traders preferred ;)

I really liked Moonlander. I thought it was released to close to LB, and didn't get the attention it deserved.

Not many people can get away with something like Witch Doctor, but it works. Moonlander is the hidden jewel of the PJ album tree. Few are ever gonna gravitate to it, even as PJ fans. Totally different from them, but still a lot of the same attributes that I love about PJ's music....just approached from a different angle, with a different end goal in mind.

I really enjoy this album and throw it in the rotation quite often. King of the Junkies & Bombs Away are the standouts for me.

Canadian dollar sucks right now and I have an extra RNDM which is now sold out so thought I'd throw it out there.

    Any Moonlander traders?

This is a good album and I was surprised at depth Stone has in experimenting.
His artwork though.....well let's just say art is truly in the eye of the beholder.

Ha, yeah, I am also not a big fan of the album art.

Pssst... BOTH records are still available in the PJ shop (and presumably other online retailers). I'm pretty sure the ones in stock are still sealed.

I feel bad asking this, but how much does he sing on the album? I'm intrigued again by all of these positive comments and I want to give this album a try, but his singing voice just doesn't do it for me. If its mostly instrumental though, I can get into that.

Yep, I agree... but after the first couple songs I am not as aware. Musically, I think its very good.
