2016 tour is PJ's longest since '06

18-show run from Ft. Lauderdale to Toronto is longest consecutive run since 2006. 23 shows total, if including Roo, Fenways, Wrigleys. Either way, they haven't been out on the road this much without stopping since Avocado LP.

All my life i thought long tours sounded so fun. Then i had a kid. The two day business trip to Chicago away from him was like being tortured. So i can relate to their small tours now LOL

Excited for all the fans, this is sure to be an awesome tour. Even better they're not supporting an album so they'll get a bit more diverse set lists I think/hope.

I've been doing a lot of bootleg listening lately and I have to say out of the 2000's, 2003's, '08's, '09's, '13's and '14's, the last few years are just a huge improvement in basic sound. They really killed it with the last few tour's mixing, they sound like they're in a studio, it's amazing.

Hoping/assuming the boots from this tour will be incredible as well.

I'm like an opening band for your mom.

How old is the kid? Mine are 7 and 10 and I'm pissed I didn't win both Fenways so I could leave the house a day earlier

Agreed about boots. Band has never sounded better and stronger live. And they're playing longer than ever.

Should be a very special tour.

Hard not to nerd out over the fact the '06 tour officially started in Toronto with the release of Avocado and on the album's 10 year anniversary the tour officially concludes in Toronto.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."
