he won't come near to where I live in the fall/winter. no heat, and never any waves.
I have only seen him once, so I'd be happy even without new material.
I've never seen him, but I am sick of the same old stuff just from the boots, lol. I have had enough of Into the Wild and Ukulele Songs and the same old covers. I really want some fresh material whether I get to see him or not! ... Not that I wouldn't go if he came to town of course, no matter what he's playing.

I agree about people acting a fool in the crowds. However, I'd argue that he does mix things up in his solo shows. I wish people would stop yelling out PJ song requests though. The solo shows are supposed to be different... Let the man play what he wants to play.
That would be great. He has yet to play any shows supporting his latest solo album Ukulele Songs in Canada. He has played Vancouver, Montreal & Toronto solo during the Into The Wild tour. It was soooooooooooo good. It would be miracle if he played a solo show or two in Atlantic Canada someday.
November 21 would be nice. We went to an EV show on our wedding day, and it was my first time seeing him solo. It's been too long. Canada is fine. Thanks, Ed

I love EV solo, into the Wild is awesome and some of the Uke stuff is great. It is EV solo, I think expecting him to play more PJ stuff is dumb. Would love to see him solo again! #SDC

It's weird to me how some can listen to the same songs over and over again, but if played live on a somewhat regular basis? No bueno!
I'd just be happy as hell to experience any of it.
Been to 15 Ed solo shows with my son ,loved them all but the crowd knob jockies that keep yelling really take the shine off,on the last one in Melbourne this dickhead kept yelling out to Ed "play YELLOW LEDBETTER it was pissing Ed off as well and he ended up saying "MIKE AINT HERE ,SHUT THE FUCK UP" For those who haven't gone make it a priority,ARC solo is worth the money alone and the loud mouths

Minnie in 2011 was unbelievable. Lucky enough that he released two of the songs from that show on vinyl. Wish he'd release the whole show, but I'll take what I can get.
