Well friends, I promised an update on the Crowdrise platform and here it is. I didn't hear from them as expected so wrote again to the Crowdrise contact, this time with a bit more assertiveness. Still no answer from HIM.
Just received the following x 3 for each donation: "Dear Joan,
Your donation dated 2/3/2016 for $11.18 was reversed and a credit has been applied to your account.Please allow several business days for the credit to appear in your account.
As a result of this refund, your original donation receipt is no longer valid for tax deduction purposes. If you have any questions regarding this refund, please contact our customer service department at help@networkforgood.com.
I received a refund as well, according to an email I just got. Not sure why. I haven't been following this situation. Are they reversing all donations made in the last week? That's sad.
