**Columbus, OH PJ Fan Pre-Tour Happy Hour**

edited February 2016 in The Porch
With all of the excitement for the upcoming tour,
I've had several Columbus area fans suggest getting everyone together for a Pre-Tour Happy Hour.
Trying to gauge the interest and figure out a good date, time and place for a little get together.
Was thinking about the Crafty Pint, Miller's Columbus Ale House or one of the Winking Lizard Tavern locations, but open to any suggestions.
Let me know what would work best for your schedules and where you'd like to go, and we'll see if we can make this happen!!
We've got a GREAT community of fans here in the C-bus...so let's get ready to celebrate the 2016 PJ Tour.

There's a Winking Lizard in the Crosswoods complex
OR I love the Crafty Pint on 161 in Linworth.

This isn't before a show at the arena and we're not talking about a pub crawl.
Just looking for a place that has enough space for a simple happy hour to get together with other Columbus fans and get excited about the upcoming tour.
What place were you thinking about "downtown"??
Parking in Downtown and the Short North is rough on a good day,
and even more difficult on Friday and Saturday.
We could do Miller's Columbus Ale House, Barley's Smokehouse or the Winking Lizard in Grandview if you'd rather have a more central location...
all of these places have nice bars with big tables and PLENTY of parking.

The 26th works better for me. I'll have my kids on the 19th but I can make either work if the 19th is better for the group.

Fair enough....I was just being selfish as I could walk. :)

Gallo's Tap Room on Bethel isn't a bad spot to consider as well.

Grandview is nice and central... Jimmy V's has great Greek food, Jonnhy's pub is a great hole in the wall with illegal gambling in the back lol, a couple Irish pubs, the Thirsty Ear always had blues happening...

Downtown, has to be downtown. Can walk to dozens of bars.

Why does it have to be downtown?

Grandview is nice and central... Jimmy V's has great Greek food, Jonnhy's pub is a great hole in the wall with illegal gambling in the back lol, a couple Irish pubs, the Thirsty Ear always had blues happening...
Are you in rgambs...I'll add you to the OP if so!!
Parking would be a little challenging at these places buddy...
Johnny's on Glenn Ave and Woodlands Tavern (The Thirsty Ear has been gone for 5 or 6 years now) would mean finding parking on neighborhood streets.
I haven't been to Jimmy V's on Grandview Ave...
does it have a parking lot behind the building or is it on street parking too??
If we are looking for something centrally located,
I'm thinking Barley's Smokehouse on Dublin Road, Miller's Ale House on Olentangy River Road or Gallo's Tap Room on Bethel would be good.
These are easy to get to and have PLENTY of free parking.
