Is there a way to see the pm's I sent?

    If you click on inbox you will see the last message of each conversation, whether you sent the last PM or the other party sent it.

    I think when the recipient deletes them, they no longer appear in the conversation.

    And check your recipient's Activity wall in case you didn't select Message when you typed into the text box.
