You're in the building.. you will enjoy!! Had to sit behind the stage in OKC 2013 due to, lets just say a "ticket malfunction".. Just go and enjoy!

I've done two shows from behind the stage and have really enjoyed it. It's pretty cool to get the same view of the crowd that the band does. I wouldn't want to be there for every show but it's not a bad experience at all.

    Don't Sit Up Too High!!

I was behind the stage in Seattle (2013). When you get to a certain height the metal bird and the lighting rigs impede your view. From our vantage point all you could see was eddie when he was in perfect position between the speakers and the metal bird. Everytime the metal bird lowered we didn't even get that. Worst tickets I've ever hard to anything. If you're going to sit behind the stage you need to sit low enough that all the crap doesn't impede your view.

It would probably be pretty good if your in the lower bowl seats or first few rows on the 2nd level. We were around 20 rows up on the 2nd level.. it really sucked.

I've seen PJ twice at MSG. MSG 2 2003 I was lower level, directly across from the stage, on the far side of the arena. Kind of sucked. MSG 2 2010 I was behind the stage. I'll take behind the stage every time over the seats I had in 2003. I'm someone who tends to watch the crowd more than the band during shows, so behind the stage was ideal. You're actually much closer than a lot of other seats, and I felt like my view was almost what the band sees. Looking right over the stage and directly at the GA pit was pretty cool. Sound was also better behind the stage in 2010 than it was in 2003.

I saw The Rolling STones from behind the stage, though i was up high i still enjoyed the show.

I scored right behind the stage for Philly-2 in the lower section and i don't care, as i'm in the building. Actually, looking forward to seeing the show from that view. I know what these Fuckers look like>LOL>so as long as the sound is good, i don't care.

Plus, i think it will be Kool to see the crowd reaction from there too.

. The key is having speakers face that way. I believe PJ does put them back there.

They had them at denver 2014 and it was actually the clearest sound at an arena I think I've ever experienced. And the view really isn't bad, they are very good at acknowledging the folks in back and making them feel as much a part of the crowd as anyone else.
That's cool! Alright I'm feeling much better about MSG 2 now
I was just behind the stage for Bruce at the Garden the other night, 3rd level; had an excellent time and the sound was good.
    Okay, cool thanks marcos!

What row.. that sound upper section... if it's above row 10 I would think twice and go with 103.. if it's lower than row 10 it might be so bad....

I think I'd go behind the stage if it's the 2nd row. Being at the back makes it hard to see anything on stage. At least behind the stage you're close to everything. I was just trying to get you to avoid this. If I'd been 10 rows lower I would been below the lighting rig and would of enjoyed the show alot more:

although, they may not use the bird this tour... I guess we will find out!

How about the 400 level seats in New York? If you had a choice between say....414 or 201 at MSG...which would you pick?

I pulled rear stage seats dozens of times today. Could probably pull them right now. I passed. For me, not worth it to pay for flights and a hotel, plus full price for the tickets, and only be able to catch a small portion of the show. Yes, the music will sound just as good. But will my experience?

Not for me. Not this time.

Insightful. I was hoping for input from someone who has been there, and those are my two choices.

We were second to last row center behind the stage in Seattle. I got confused because we only watched the screens and they all played their instruments "reversed"
The couple behind us in the last row was upgraded mid-show to somewhere next to the stage. It was still a great show, but yeah, you don't see much of the band. But you can hear just fine and your ears are not ringing afterwards! Also, it is kinf of cool to see the whole audience. It is like an ocean.

Side of the stage we had in Pittsburgh, I think. Loved it.

My avatar was taken from behind the stage at Barclays1. 1st row right behind the stage. It was ridiculous being able to see what the band saw the whole show. I loved it. Ya know Eddie is gonna play to the people in the rear a lot anyway.

I'll actually be rear stage for MSG2 this time around.

Plus, it's all about the music, and you can hear that everywhere.

I'm going to be behind the stage for MSG2 for the first time. I'm really looking forward to trying it. Why not? A totally different view. This tour I'm getting GA, reserved 10C, decent TM seats, and these behind the stage seats, so lots to compare.
