That's a fantastic read and a very interesting look into a living legend's life. A must read.

Nice find and a good read. I have Neil's other book but haven't had time to read it yet.

    Ouch!
Not trying to rub it in but you may want to peruse eBay first next time:
The most recently sold signed copy went for $85.
Even a sealed copy of the signed 'deluxe slip case' version went for $210.
No harm done, live and learn!

Yeah, I felt badly when I saw that but didn't want to discourage anyone.

I'm a bookseller myself so I always encourage people to support local independents first but for things that can't be found that way your best bet is to try a consolidation site that links to many seller sites who often have the best deals. Buying on-line is tricky though since nowadays anyone with internet access and a closet can call themselves a "book dealer". Many bookstores provide on-line buying service and take the hit if it's not what was ordered or in the condition listed.

Unless the listing I just looked at is erroneous or false it looks like a few new signed copies in slip case and shrink wrap are going for under $200.

I've overpaid on things before and it stings but it's best just to live and learn and not let it get you down. You have a great book by a great musician! Enjoy it well!

Bought the paperback version while I was on the PJ Euro tour in 2014 in Austria. A good read, but I could do without reading page after page of his car history if I'm honest.

halfway through I could no longer stand his old-man ramblings. it was a very tough read, and easy to put down. eventually I gave it away without ever finishing it.

Kind the way people often are with my posts... they get tired of my "old man rambling".

Me too. It's too disjointed and contained too much detail about unimportant stuff like his train set. Great to know the man has a passion for his trains but it doesn't make for a great read.

I don't find that with you brian! I found WHP to be like reading the diary of man losing his marbles.

Yep. I didn't even make it halfway. And I don't put anything down once I start reading/watching/whatever. Terrible book.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
