I'm gonna be stalking this stupid board all day looking for close ups of the new merch. I THINK I really like the red/white logo but I'm confused as to why the men's shirt gets the dates on the back but the women's shirt doesnt? (I buy men's shirts anyway but I'm just wondering)

the people around here trading stickers bewilder and amuse me... how fucking old are you?
The last 2 shows I went to at ACL last year I couldn't even get a sticker because all of them were scooped up by people who need to buy 15 to trade for every other show on the tour... i wanted 1 to put in the garage on my beer fridge... craziness... i ditched the sticker book when I was 6.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I was just thinking how funny it is that adults have a "sticker buddy". Everyone has their thing. I will stick to obsessing about records.

I love collecting Pearl Jam stickers. It's actually one of the more affordable things to collect and I've made some friends on here that I adore because of it. I refuse to announce how old I am, let's just say I'm older than six

I'll go. I'm 30. They're small and cheap. Most practical item to collect for me. Posters & shirts are expensive and take up too much space. Trading is fun, & no different than selling/trading anything else. The Volcom pop up shop had limits on stickers at first it was 2 per person then it was 5 per person. So they ARE trying to address that problem of people buying 20 stickers at a time. Just like they did with the limit on posters.Keep in mind stickers are a relatively new merch addition.Haters gonna hate.

Does anybody see the keychain in the 10c shop anywhere? I searched through misc and accessories and don't see it. I bought one at one of the shows last year and love it. Just last week my keys fell down under my car seat and that key chain got stuck in the track of my car seat. In trying to pull it out, it broke and is now permanently stuck in the track of my car seat. wish I could just easily buy one here

I drink good beer. That being said, a kind person already sent me one of each. The stickers made it to my fridge. Thank you for the offer though.

Why the hostility?
I have a little hostility because I wanted 1 sticker.... just 1. They probably printed 10,000 + and sold them all before I could get one because people need 15-20 so that they could trade them to others to get them all...
To me, it was a keepsake associated with a memory of the show... first rights to this stuff should be given to people who actually attend the show.... but I was restricted from purchasing just 1 because others needed to buy 20 so that they could trade to other people who weren't at the show to get all the other stickers...
that is all. I'm over it. i believe that people who attend the show and have a memory associated with it should have first rights on the merch versus some "collector" who needs to have it to complete the set...

Nope, its not currently sold in the shop.
I bought that one at Brooklyn one and it broke just days later in Philly. I replaced it with a safe travels keychain a few months later.
Disclaimer, somehow I messed up the quotes. I intended to quote Shep.

Same thing happened to me in Cincy last year. I just wanted one sticker from the only show I attended in 2014.
If anyone is willing to please get me a sticker or pin!! THANK YOU!!!

NEED that hoodie with the new symbol. Very cool. Thanks for posting.
I'm paranoid but it doesn't resemble anything from the late 1930s to mid 1940s? Lol
Check out the letter a in Pearl Jam. Mind Blown
While yes, YSD, the letter A in that pj logo is similar to the square and compass used by freemasonry, it's just how that font is designed. I did not design that logo, nor any merch, but I can almost guarantee with 100% certainty, that the person who did design that logo, just used a pre-existing font, and it so happens that the A looks that way. There was no secretive meaning for using an A that happens to be similar to a square and compass. As far as I am aware, no member of pj is a freemason... this is an assumption on my part as I've never had a conversation about it with any of them, and it's never come up in conversation, but I like to study symbolism and freemasonry and all things esoteric, and I have never seen any clues or inclinations from any of the band members that showed me they cared at all about freemasonry or any of the ideas and themes freemasonry incorporates. I've included esoteric symbols into a lot of my work, and it's never been at the request of a band, ever. It's always been me choosing to include certain symbols.
And the reality of the square and compass symbol, is it's no different then a star of david. It's two opposing triangles coming together, one from above one from below, symbolizing the union of duality or the coming together of opposites. Duality is one of the key foundations of life: night / day, inhale / exhale, life / death, male / female, sleep / awake. And it's from the union of these opposites where new life is created, as we see in the union of a man and a woman to create a child. The same meaning is found in the vesica pisces symbol which is the overlapping of two circles. When the two opposing or opposite forces come together, a new third force is created. A battery has two opposing sides, a positive and a negative, and when they are used together in a circuit you get power.
So the star of david or freemason's square and compass, at their original core meaning are the same as the yin yang, the intermingling or coming together of opposites. There's nothing evil or secretive, rather they are symbols explaining a core principle of universal truth. This idea of the union of opposites is seen throughout religion and mythology, it just gets misconstrued as literal devils vs angels, when it's all just allegory and personification of opposing forces, like the two opposing sides of a magnet.
But like many symbols, they get used by groups that didn't originate them and then people start to associate the symbols with those groups who took or altered a pre-existing symbol. Like the swastika. Or the cross. People look at the swastika and only see the nazis and what they turned the symbol into meaning. People look at the cross and only see christianity, despite the symbol existing long before christianity. Many ancient symbols have been reappropriated and had their meanings changed so the true meaning of the symbol is buried and almost lost entirely. Like the all-seeing eye. The true meaning of that symbol has been greatly altered to hide it's true meaning, which reveals a key to understanding enlightenment and all-knowing. Certain folks don't want the masses knowing this, so they reappropriated the symbol and have changed the meaning... and it too is now going the way of the swastika.
