I put an offer down and seller came back with a price slightly higher than a pending offer. I didn't go for the price he offered me because I assumed the pending offer was yours? Someone came in over the top and payed the full amount so I guess they both won in the end! Wish I'd just bought it now and worried about it later in some ways...

I wanted to help so I messaged him and he said the lowest he would take is $650 as a best offer.

How funny? This is what we have to watch. We are all so keen to help Ivan and other community members looking for this that we must be all contacting these sellers behind the scenes and they may think the item is more popular than ever. I don't know how to fix it, but maybe if a thread like Ivan's exist, we state on thread that the item is up and one goes and discusses....it's tough yeah.
But I was amongst the many trying to source it for you.

He got his buy it now price so well played to him I say! I personally wouldn't have paid quite that much atm but someone did so congrats!
It's a really tricky one, you def want to help each other out and also prioritise those who have been persistent and thus, most deserving of the item,but in doing so, sometimes everyone may miss out. For the record,I offered $550,he said he had a $665 offer pending but I could buy it there and then for $685. I admit I backed off because, as much as I also want to find one of these, I thought that if the $665 was indeed a genuine pending offer, it might have been Ivan? and I wasn't going to burn him over $20! Within 5 minutes of the counter offer from the seller,someone had payed the $785 asking price which meant none of the previous negotiation mattered anyhow lol
