Special guest Billy Joel will be sitting in for Boom. They will close the show with New York State of Mind.

I would burn my entire Pearl Jam collection if this happened.
I actually would have really enjoyed that, lol.

I would say that there's a special place in hell for that no-talent douchenozzle, but he doesn't deserve a special place.

Sorry about that. Billy Joel just gets all my negative cylinders fired up.

Let's talk about something more positive.

So, it looks like my daughter's pet fish is going to die....

The band was invited to the show. Their back up keyboardist wasn't. That makes sense to me.
I like Boom. He's just not a member of the band. He clearly doesn't want to be, either.

I highly doubt GC said you can headline the show but no Hawaiians.

Maybe he will be there tomorrow. But if he's not it's probably cause what I said. A one off show half way around ten world isn't a big deal for him to miss.
I'm sorry, I guess I completely misunderstood? I thought we were talking about their appearance on the Colbert Show. That's what it seems like in the OP. I'm sure Boom will be there for the GC show - no reason to think otherwise.
Boom has to be there. He's on the fucking Transformers poster. If he's not there, that poster doesn't factually represent the show it came from which hasn't actually happened yet. Boooooooooooooom.

Fair enough - everyone's taste in music is different - though I didn't know that anyone disliked Piano Man, lol. I'm not actually a fan per se - I don't own any of his albums or anything - by once in a while a good Billy Joel song really makes me smile. I know Dr. Delight is a huge fan.
