    Classic!

My parents rocked Freddy Fender in the 8 track summer after summer back in the 70s. 'Wasted Days and Wasted Nights'.

From the same era... I'll toss this one in the mix:

I'm an 80s child born in the first year of that decade so I have a lot in my cloud just for nostalgia like the one below. I was about 8 when this came out.

Remains one of my all time favourite movies. They don't make romance like this in Hollywood anymore

Freddy Fender was only ever available on 8-track. I think it was part of his contract.

"8-track only. 10 cent premium if its one of those red ones that was recorded off something. 20 cents if something is shoved into the side of it to make it play right."

My dad used half a plastic knife with black electric tape around it. Those things were laying around everywhere. that and those red or yellow doo-hickeys that you put into 45s. Like that thing/design on what I call the Yield DVD.

that song was always "background" to me. It's actually pretty good when you sit down and listen to it. But yes-- still corny right?

If I'm going with Boogie Nights tracks, I've gotta pick "Brand New Key," but "Magnet and Steel" is definitely a close second.

I'm probably taking this in a different direction, but I love "St. Elmo's Fire" by John Parr.

    Yes, I'm serious.

I even have a dance and hand motions that go along with it.

    Yes, I'm still serious.

It chokes me up a little.

    Sigh...yes I'm still serious.

Im a sucker for Pat Benatar's "Invincible." Makes me feel like a reckless teenager. I just want to put all the car windows down and drive like a bat out of hell. Also, it's in "The Legend of Billy Jean," which is one of the most amazing corny movies.
