    Was a temp thing (wanted to have Derek Anderson in the event Cam didnt get the nod on Monday night...already had Ryan Tannehill as my back up and on a flier picked up Lynch as a trade bait in the event he comes out blowing loads on faces around the league) but I should be able to do it if I want to.

    That is silly. I have one of the best QBs...I should still be able to choose to carry all QBs on my bench if I was so inclined. Explained why I wanted to do it this week -- Derek would have been cut after this week and Cam was back for sure.
    From that point I would have 2 bench QBs. 1 for Bye week and in the event of Cam getting a long term injury (Tannehill) and one for trade bait or perhaps to be a back up if he blew up.
    Regardless of strategy it is foolish for the league to tell people what they can/cannot put on the bench.

    My opinion.

    I may, or may not have, picked up a lot of those coyotes that Ani mentioned in my time.

    If you have a qb listed as out and you put him on IR, you should be able to add a third qb.
