The (2015) calm before the (2016) storm?

So, next year they are eligible for the R&RHOF, correct? And this year has been really quiet? We haven't heard much of anything, other than their November SA tour, and their one NY show.

I sincerely hope that they are secretly working on an album, but I think that is wishful thinking. But, assuming they get the honor of HOF, that will be in April. They could to a summer/fall tour following that? They would HAVE to do something big that year, correct?

    You would definitely think they would have at least a little something planned ! I sure hope so. And wouldn't a summer tour be pretty awesome ! I'm ready for whatever.

    My guess: 2016 will be full of interviews and appearances and only a few special shows and side project work. 2017 in studio. Album release in fall 2018 followed by short tour.

    Hopefully they will tour, and I hope they get in the hall of fame first year they are eligible.

    Oh boy...now it's only a matter of time until we start hearing from the NYC crowd and how the band should play a 10 night stand at Madison Square Garden and no where else.... ;)

    According to this article the band isn't eligible for induction in the R&R HOF until the 2017 ceremony.

    You've gotta think they'll do a Canadian tour next year!!
    Besides the 2 shows in Calgary & Vancouver in 2013,
    They haven't toured eastern & central Canada since the release of Lightning Bolt!!

    I'd say those are pretty solid guesses. With the NWA film dropping and Dre releasing a new album and talk of a NWA tour, I can see them making it in.

    Maybe even Janet Jackson too seeing as she is going active this year.

    Hmm, interesting. Meaning they would be on the ballot in 2016. So, next year might be just a normal year, but if that is the case, i would expect an album in 2017 for sure.
