I dunno but I was at an event that had a machine that created personalized coke cans... well, it just printed a label that slapped your name on the can. I tried using a nickname or two and it wouldn't budge, you could only type in "real names" from a per-determined list. I got fed up and tried "pepsi" and the guy there yelled at me, LOL. Didn't occur to me to try Eddie on one can and Vedder on the other.

Whilst I get your point entirely, those Mickey figures were as cool as hell. Not the EV connection mind, but the fact that the mouse was in the rock stance. Any fan of Disney & rock would have loved those, the link to PJ was tenuous at best

what we have here is a ridiculous cash grab in charging $50 for something readily available for $10. It hurts my head to think people are falling for it, but they are.

True... but that bottle of soda probably costs Coke less than 50 cents. They're not selling it for cost. I think companies and people on ebay are entitled to sell luxury items for whatever people are willing to pay.

It's a wierd campaign. I have a somewhat common name but every bottle of coke I see in the store has someone else's name on it. Basically (for the most part) everyone ends up drinking a bottle of coke with someone else's name on it. It's kind of creepy.

Agreed. Listing it as "RARE! Sold Out! OOP!" helps their scams.

Totally blows there's not one available here in Canada. I would totally be down for just one that say's Pearl Jam. Dan has the whole set with all the band members names.

I'm pretty shocked I received the green check mark for my first name. But with my last name I received this message ... "Your name is not currently on our approved list. Please submit the name you want and we’ll review within a few hours. We will send you an email once we’ve reviewed it. "

Okay, a lot of us spend a ton of time collecting band related stuff, but creating coke bottles with the band members names seems a little too obsessive to me.

im with you, I do not understand this coke bottles thing one bit. What next? Pearl jam cereal? I love this stuff if its an official promo or the likes, but when everyone is just printing them I just don't get it at all. Its a touch bizarre
