Yes, please. I'll take opening for the Foo Fighters next month, in the meantime.

No openers are awesome, but I'd love to see these guys. I heard their set is roughly half an hour, so that I would not mind.

I like Royal Blood a lot, but I hope PJ's days of having opening bands are over.

Maybe.... The last few shows of the 2013 tour had Mudhoney opening. PJ still played their 3 hour+ set so the shows completely blew arena curfews :)

They were awesome on Stern the other day. Their album is only 99 cents this week on Google Play.

Yes great appearance on Stern but I do dig "an evening with PJ"...

I'm in favor of no openers for PJ as well. However, if you have the chance to see Royal Blood on their own, I highly recommend it. I've seen them twice already this year and they were one of my favorite sets at Coachella.
Watching them on the Bonnaroo live stream right now.

I also just watched their bonnaroo set. Pretty awesome. What's with everyone wanting no openers. Those are way better shows in my opinion. Fell in love with Sleater Kinney that way.

Those 03 shows with sleater Kinney still give me chills. Definitely not my cup of tea.
And there's no need for pj to have openers anymore. They are following the ways of E street to a T.

Hard to beat an evening with PJ, and they have had some duds in the past, but, they've also had Ben Harper, Sonic Youth, Kings of Leon, My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses. I think Royal Blood has the potential to be in the ranks of these bands in due time.

Yeah I love the no opener thing as well. Plus if it's a band I really like, I'd rather see them play their own show than a shortened 30 minute set.

I am digging Royal Blood big time. Will definitely check them out next time they come through Chicago.

Maybe? They are opening for the foos this summer, but not sure if they are pearl jam "friendly" meaning not sure how pj fans would react to them. Still would rather see either black rebel motorcycle club or gaslight anthem.
