If you would have told me this concert would be the last at MSG for 5 years, I would have called you crazy. It was such a great show. Had floor seats with my dad. Scored the poster in the online sale a couple weeks later.

Unforgettable show. Hell of a way to start off my live PJ career, those 2 MSG shows. Hard to explain exactly how amazing it was inside that building to anyone who wasn't there. Unreal atmosphere, setlist, energy, everything. So happy my poster is finally hanging up! I think of this show often.

Also brought my now best friend to this show. I'd only known her a couple of months, but somehow just knew she'd enjoy the show, which she did! It sparked her love for PJ, brought us closer as friends, and last year we even traveled abroad to see the band together. Cool stuff.

Madison Square Garden.. the "World's Most Famous Arena". Hope they come back soon so we can make the stage bounce again.

Great show... But there is only one MSG 2 and it's 98 for realz!

I'll never forget that one-two opening punch of "Corduroy" into "Hail Hail"; you just knew they were ready to bring it.

Then, they followed that with "Do the Evolution," "World Wide Suicide," "Got Some," "Breath," and finally the campfire vibe of "Nothingman."

That was perfection. An awesome start to an amazing night!

One of my absolute favorite shows and top experiences among the very many incredible PJ concerts I have been blessed to attend.
This is one of the reasons the bootlegs are such an awesome fan friendly thing...we can relive the experience (via audio anyway) and still get goosebumps and have hair stand up on end - which still happens when listening to the version of Nothingman from this show. ...and I was thrilled to finally hear Black Red Yellow, and a top quality version too.
I thank my good friend Lew the morning of each may 21st since for allowing me to use his plus one ticket and experience the show with him on the rail. A night I will never forget. Maybe one day full video of this show will be available? I think it may have been taped based on Betterman being in PJ20. I can wish anyway.
