PJ Radio

I love PJ Radio on SiriusXM, and when I listen to PJ Radio, I would like to hear PJ. It seems like they have been playing these impact tracks a lot more often lately. Its like every 3rd song is a non-PJ song. Why is that? I know the online player for SiriusXM allows you to customize the station, but unfortunately I am unable to do that to the player in my car.

Who runs PJ radio? Can we ask them about the excessive playing of "impact tracks"?

Some folks were complaining that they were playing too much Pearl Jam on Pearl Jam Radio. Messed up right? So being an A+ customer service company that they are they had to listen to those complainers so they started playing non Pearl Jam tunes on a 24/7 Pearl Jam Radio Station.

I'm only kidding. I have no idea what happened to that channel. But I betcha that's what happened. The Pearl Jam music catalog is HUGE!!! Official bootlegs, audience recordings, studio albums, b-sides, compilations, side projects etc.. It's sad they are ruining the experience for their fans. The Pearl Jam fans.

I heard three PJ songs in a row yesterday for the first time in quite a while. It was awesome.

I haven't caught mad season yet. Usually I catch soundgarden, led zep, bruce, pink floyd, fugazi, that carlilse girl, I'm missing another frequent one. Heard some petty lately.
Oh please let it rain today.

Heard Arctic Monkeys on PJ Radio this eve...after a brief "intro" from Jeff... Add Clash, X, Ramones, Tom Petty, and a few others to the list above. I did catch Lost in the Supermarket yesterday, I cranked it up.

Yeah, that's a rare occasion anymore, unless they're playing a show. I listen every morning on my way to work, and i'll hear 2 PJ songs followed by an "impact track". Its ridiculous. I don't want to hear Fugazi or the Strokes or Arctic Monkeys. I want to hear PEARL JAM!!

When I listen to PJ Radio, who do you think I want to listen to?

I wrote them an email complaining when this first started and they didn't even respond to me. I've had XM in my car for 10 years and I'm not renewing when it's up in August. I can make my own PJ Radio with all the music options I have in my new car.

Just curious, do most of you here have Sirius/XM Radio solely for the PJ channel? Being a huge PJ fan I actually find myself rarely listening to that channel simply because if I want to hear PJ I'll just plug in my iPod as I have tons of their music to choose from.

I'm usually listening to the various sports channels (especially the fantasy sports one on 87) along with the Stern and other music channels.

I had XM and only listened to the PJ channel. I cancelled it a while ago and now and again think it would be nice to have it back. A few weeks ago I had a rental car and the first thing I did was tune in to the channel. Yes, I too was disappointed with the content. I barely heard any PJ. I heard Springsteen, Fugazi, and who knows what else. I want to hear Pearl Jam on the Pearl Jam channel. Bruce has his own.
