best irrelevant thread title of the decade!!!

I could've compared it to NAIS but the results would be too close.

To be fair though I think that video is better than any version of NAIS.
And thank you for posting your one hundred twenty six thousand five hundred and thirty eighth post here.
First, NAIS is brilliant. Never saw STP but heard Scott was awesome frontman. Sorry he's struggling again.
It is interesting that out of all the responses in this thread only a few chose Backspacer.
    Backspacer is a great album.

The question is clear - Backspacer or that?

Most posters here are discussing the sadness of what Scott has become/is.
I truly don't understand the hate for Backspacer.
Is it an inside joke on this forum to hate Backspacer?
People just seem to say Backspacer sucks for no reason other than because others do, it's weird.
What is the problem with this album? Really?

Even in a simple thread like this no one (or very few) is making a choice between that atrocious performance or BS. Why not?

edit- I think NAIS is as good as the whole Backspacer album.

    Lol, Backspacer...
Went a little off your topic earlier.
Love this album, might sound a little "clean" at times, but a really great album.

Anyone who wouldn't answer Backspacer should probably go get an MRI.

My guess is that playing the song may have been a contractual obligation. Like any good rock star I'm sure Scott doesn't lik being told what to do. He doesn't look messed up to me.

And Backspacer , though is no Yield, is not a terrible record... And further more NAIS is freakin awesome.
