Anyone been to Bogota?

Considering going to the Bogota show. Anyone been there or currently live there that can offer some insights about the city? I'm from Miami and speak Spanish, so it's definitely an advantage. I'm just a little worried about safety and want to hear some stories about experiences to ease my nerves a bit

    Like any other city, I am from there, it depends where you go and who you go with... I can give you some info for sure, if you don't know anyone there is trickier but I will be there so gladly will guide you through Bogota...

    Trying to do my good deed of the day, I pointed out someone posting a link to Bogota New Jersey not Columbia. But, thank my lucky stars, a fine standing forum member pointed out their mistake. It's an honest mistake since most everyone thought the next tour was in the US not South America. (sarcasm)
