Agree. Tours are three weeks, 12 shows. If there are shows it seems likely they would commence first week of September and end with the Global Citizen Festival.
I've posted in other threads, I don't think the band will trek across the country for an abbreviated show they're not getting paid for. Best case would be a 10-12 show tour as mentioned above. Worst case, I think there are a couple shows around the Global Citizen Festival. Also, this show would debunk the Hawaii rumors. Personally, I doubt there's a full 12 show tour, Canada or otherwise, since there are zero rumors out there and an announcement usually happens in May for their September tours.

I am taking a 2 year break. No shows for me. No traveling for me. Just need a little break.
So what if they don't do any dates here in 2015 it's not the end of times if they don't ......
True story.
I also don't like this idea of PJ25. And then PJ30. Do they really need to do 'anniversary' shows every few years?
Yes they do!!! And have the pj museum there too!!
I just hate the whole nostalgia thing. PJ20 fine. But then every 5 years is overkill. I just don't see a need for a PJ25. I'm probably in the minority!
I'm with you.

I really do like that you posted a Victoria date. We get skipped on the cross Canada tours. Our venue is small (7000 people) so I understand why PJ doesn't play here, but then it bums me out when they play smaller venues in other parts of Canada. Then you start to wonder.. why not? The ferries not that bad. The flight is short because Seattle is only 80 miles away.
Mid May, they will announce 8-12 shows across a region of North America. running from early/mid September.
Dimi disagree?

So I don't normally get to hear PJ radio, but I did this weekend and at one point they played the Replacements' "Alex Chiltin" with proceeding bit from Mike about what a big influence they are and how they hope to play some shows with them this year. Is this old? Am I the only one who noticed this or did they just hint at something to come? Festival? Latin America opener? Hawaii? Concert on the moon? Let the speculation begin.
Step backwards?? The guys would love to play 50,000 to 100,000 capacity shows where all the logistics are already set up and the Stones have been a HUGE influence on PJ's music!

Completely disagree. They seem to love headlining their own shows with no openers playing three hour sets.
15 shows in 3 weeks is pretty much every tour leg since 2006 so I think it is safe to say that is the permanent template at thIs point
10-12shows tops in 3 weeks is the style since 2006

I don't mind how long the leg/ tour is, but I'll happily take any show that is within my reach (looking at you, Toronto )
And I also don't mind the anniversary shows. PJ20 changed my life, nothing will ever take away from that. But since they have slowed down, it would just be another chance to catch them live. Nothing bad about that!
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

This isn't happening strictly because The Who plays in Vancouver on Sept. 29th, so the dates are already not working. Don't get me wrong I would give up my life for a month to follow this but not looking good. Just hope there are is a mini run.
