They didn't play eastern Canada at all on lightning bolt tour so some shows in Toronto and Montreal around this time could make some sense.

come right across canada before their SA tour just like 2005 and 2011 with a stop in Central Park before flying everything down to SA

If I had to take a wild guess, I would say PJ @ Central Park this summer. End of September.

I go every year to Global in Central Park. If PJ plays (fingers crossed) at least my bf will go again. It's a pain in the ass to get in and the food situation is awful. Security is tight but you can get nips in no problem. They finally opened water only lines last year which was much needed b/c the food / bev lines are well over an hour wait. Eat your big meal of the day before entering since I do not see this changing at all. You're put in a "pen" and that is where you live for the day. Meet up with your friends before going in otherwise there is a very good chance you won't be together.

My guess is they will pull a Neil and play about 70 minutes. Whatever. I miss them so much if they play 1/2 hour I would be happy.

Only difference for me is I'll be sooooooo excited and I will get there super early, bring Cards against Humanity and chill on the lawn all day.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Toronto & Montreal in September? I'm down for that. :)

If they could also include a date in St. John's, Charlottetown, Halifax, Fredericton, Quebec City, Ottawa .. that would be great too!

Ed Sheeran was just announced for Global Fest '15 (Sept. 26th, Central Park). If PJ is gonna be there like they're rumored to be, gotta sit through that guy. Makes me wanna go less now haha.

After looking at previous headliner setlists from this festival, it seems they only play about 8-10 songs. Great festival for a great cause, but I wouldn't spend the funds to travel for 10 songs, all likely to be greatest hits. As we say in Cleveland, There's always next year...

i think chances for shows are greatly diminishing with each passing day. no rumors, too quiet. some one some where usually knows or hears something.

Some acts only play one or two songs...the terrible John Legend from a few years back, when Neil Young and Foo Fighters headlined.

If you have a Facebook or Twitter account get ready. A storm of Global Citizen likes & shares will be taking over your social media home pages for the next few weeks. Cause the only way to score points / chances at free tickets to Global Citizen concerts is by liking & sharing information from their website.

so doing all of this only guarantees you a "chance" at a ticket?

I remembered doing ALOT of it back in 2013 when they were giving away free tickets to every Pearl Jam show on their North American Tour. Even for '14. Very early tickets when up early. If you had enough points, you scored yourself free tickets to the show. Those were taken so fast. I had enough points for a chance at 4 show's. Entered my chanced. Didn't score any of them. If I had the points before they went up, I would of had free tickets to 4 Pearl Jam show's. It's best all read this and check out their Global Citizen site, STAT!!! Once tickets for the event go up, F5 like crazy for those free tickets. Cause that's the only way to attend this festival event.

    thanks for the heads up.
I had registered back in 2012 for tix to a Neil Young show.
I couldn't remember how it worked.
Guess I better start signing some petitions.
