I saw a concert one time where Maroon 5 played (I think it was in Europe) and they played "Rocking In The Free World." At the end of the show. Right before they started he said something about how they were all Pearl Jam fans when they first started playing in bands and the song was a tribute.

Levine does a mean Vedder impersonation of 'The Muffin Man'.

I was planning to come on here and mention Adam talking about Eddie and PJ on The Voice tonight! You beat me to it! LOL. I thought the guy did a very nice version of "Last Kiss"-I think he has a good chance of winning the show, although they do have some excellent singers this season.

Yes, I saw that on Fallon too...... pretty funny.
Got the feeling Levine is a real fan-boy.
I have never seen the Voice but it's interesting that he mentions Ed often.

Me neither. Saw them opening for Rolling Stones @ Magnetic Hill in Moncton many years back. It was not my kind of music. But dude sure does love the Pearl Jam.

Adam's totally a fan boy. Ed's name comes almost everytime he talks about his high-pitched voice. He has voice envy :)

Also very funny that once he tweeted volunteering his drumming skills, he started showing up behind the drum kit a lot more on The Voice.

I don't love his music and can't bring myself to go to a Maroon 5 show, but I do like him on The Voice

I did see Maroon 5 once in concert and enjoyed them, but one time was enough. However, I do like seeing Adam on the Voice, and I love when he talks about PJ and Eddie!

    Maroon 5 is absolutely terrible.

I would have to disagree. They've got some mad skills and catchy tunes.

I also don't think they are terrible. I like several of their songs, and enjoyed seeing them live.

Adam is great on the voice, and he did an amazing song on Slash's solo album. I never really dug him until that, but looked into M5 and found some songs I like. He mentions E d a lot on the show, he likes him a lot.

I loved that entire Slash album, including the song with Adam. Plus I really liked Songs about Jane. Adam's a smart dude, he knows his limitations and is sticking to what will make him money. Nothing wrong with that. He totally has a man crush on Ed

    You forgot the word completely.
I fucking hate modern disco music. My personal hell would be an eternity of that Maroon 5/Train coheadlining tour a couple years back.

Every time the voice or american idol comes on TV I can't seem to change the channel fast enough. Nothing against any of the artists on there, I'm sure they are all very talented, but the show just hurts my brain. I don't understand how the ratings are so high. I would be heart broken if any member of PJ ever participated in something like this.
