Absolutely brilliant album. Like was said earlier, very tough for any band to put forth the type of albums and material for the first 5 albums in their catalog collectively, like PJ did in the 90's.

Don't be trying that reverse psychology balderdash!

It's an almost-perfect album to me; beautiful and sometimes harsh transitions between certain songs. Seems to begin and end with deep breaths and contemplation, introspection.

Just an overall gorgeous piece of work.

I had heard a few songs on Monkey Wrench radio concert in Seattle before the album came out. The one song that stood out to me was Lukin. This song is still one of my favorites.

No Code is totally fuckin' phenomenal. I wish they would release video footage of the making of this album like they did for Yield.

This would be great. So, much going on at that point too. One of my favorite time periods too. Maybe include some of the Merkin Ball sessions too.

And yes, that Letterman version of Hail Hail is by far one of my favorite. (Can Stone bring back that cool slide on the guitar in the middle of the song, please?) I remember driving from home in Cleveland to a friend's house in Toledo that day. The next morning we left for the show in Toronto! Great times!

I love the guitar tone throughout the album, the vibe from Jack's drumming, and there's also something in the quality of the recording that comes through. I'd say warmth, but that's overused.
