I almost wonder if the sticker was bought by one of those sticker bootleggers, like maybe all of a sudden everyone will have Angel reprints to trade with on the facebook groups! I mean it's still absolutely insane.

Vitalogy starter kit box sold for $304 this weekend...

Wow, I think I have that...well, I know I have the punch-out ambulance, never put together.

I remember using the rubber stamp from the VHC kit on everything I could find. Hah.

I honestly can't remember, when I was packing up to move I came across it. I kinda wanted to scan and print it out so I could put it together.

Would love to get the rubber stamp, but I'm not paying a stupid price for it.

Go to Lost Dogs if you want to trade/sell. This post isn't for that, which should be pretty obvious.

That's insane to pay more for a damn sticker than a ticket to a show. No wonder most concerts from big bands are so expensive, if there's people that can pay $200 for a sticker.

I am still reeling from the fact people are buying the "safe travels" keychain on ebay for $130. bloody ridiculous.

It is interesting that if the band tried to charge $30 for the safe travels keychain 3 years ago they would be ripped to shreds by every fan. But 3 years later people are paying $100+ for it.

Well said, Bootlegger10. Diehard fans bitch about so much. But it's some diehards - and rich people with money to burn -- driving up the ridiculous prices for merch that was second-level stuff just a few years ago.

Keychains, stickers, etc. should never be "worth" what old vinyl and show posters are. But they somehow are now.

There is another Awesome person selling the Angel sticker for, wait for it, wait for it…

    BIN $225. That's right $225… GFY...

Ok, i get. That is out of this universe crazy price for a sticker. If someone buys that, then that is their issue. But what about all the people on lost dogs repeatedly defending people like this as merely selling something for what the market states is its worth?
Can you fault people though for selling a sticker for $204? That's awesome if you are willing to give it to a friend for free or a couple bucks, but if someone is crazy enough to pay $204 for a sticker of mine I'm selling it and will sleep fine at night.
If i had a sticker that someone would pay $200+ for I'd sell it in a heartbeat. And then call the buyer a fucking idiot.

For $400 you could probably make your money back and then some selling individually. Not a good return for the effort though.

There is a person selling what seems like his 20th NOLA sticker. I question the authenticity.
He's also sold like a dozen EV picks.
I'm really starting to think that the market is going to be flooded with fake shit...

TIL that PJ is not the only brand capitalizing on the popularity of stickers.
    image
It's funny, because they actually sent a survey in which the first question was and I quote, "Our official club merchandise has gone down a storm so we know you like to display your love for New York City FC. Now we’d like to know what additional branded products you’d be interested in seeing, so you can continue to show your support for the club."
I didn't answer the survey, but my first thought was to suggest game specific stickers, the way PJ does show specific stickers. I laughed at me. I thought I was funny. If they're actually going to do that, I dunno if I will find it so funny.
