Pledgers,

Thank you for all of your support and your continued patience. We have just added a few products to our Pop-Up Shop, including some incredible high-definition prints of unpublished photographs from legendary SST producer and photographer, Spot. We have decided to extend our campaign with Pledge yet again in order to accommodate all of the newly announced products, as well as those from the group formerly known as The Singles, which will be re-launched shortly.

We understand that many of you have been waiting a considerable amount of time since placing your orders, and we’ll begin shipping everything as soon as possible. There are a few products that will be discontinued, unfortunately, due to insufficient orders. If you happened to have ordered any of these products, you’ll receive a full refund from Pledge.

Below you will find a list detailing the status of each product in our shop. You should also receive separate notifications for individual products that you ordered.

I complained, so they emailed me recently (maybe 2 weeks ago) just saying that they are still manufacturing it and doing their best to get it out ASAP. So they really said nothing. I had actually asked at what point they will give a refund because I just want to buy the orginal at this point, given that they didn't live up to their end of the bargain. They completely ignored that part of my question, lol. So congrats on the refund Demetrios. I guess they decided to start granting them since that email. I will try again.

I always add 6 months to these pledge music/kickstarter things, so I'm not bothered at all by the delay.

Maybe not 6 months but I usually expect them to go over. Normally you get contacted about the delays and get regular updates, but not with this one.

For me the kicker is that the reissue costs more than the original, and I'm just not seeing any benefit so far otherwise, like with the online pop up shop itself. It has done absolutely nothing for me and I don't feel like it's living up to what it promised, so I no longer feel like it's something I care to spend that extra money on supporting if they aren't even going to send me the pledge item in a timely manner. I resubmitted my request for a refund. Once I get it I'll buy the album on original blue vinyl for probably $30.

I just picked up an original pressing on EBAY for $20.

They replied very fast to my request for a refund this morning. Their reply was:

"Hi,
These won’t be finished within a week, or within the next month for that matter. The pressing plants are very backed up, and we didn’t even start the mastering process until we determined that there were enough orders to proceed. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. I will ask to have your refund processed right away."


As soon as I get the money I will buy myself an OG.

I know that waits for pressing plants are at least 6 months long... i would have assumed they knew that too, when they said the album would be shipped by April 15th.

Awesome!! The weird thing I also didn't get was Mike Watt. The dude is very VERY social media active on Facebook & Twitter. Many fan's would Tweet or post/message him on Facebook about this reissue vinyl without getting a single reply back. Nothing. Not caring about his product. Which was why I didn't care either & got out.

I felt the same way, but I now think that I will be emailing for a refund tomorrow. Disappointing. Guess I'll search for an original press on eBay.

FWIW, I just listened to my original blue yesterday. Got it after I cancelled this order. It sounds fantastic. I would recommend you all go for that when you cancel on these deadbeats.

Just came here to post the same thing. I was 50/50 on cancelling. I wasn't sure if I cancelled whether my refund would be USD$60 or the equivalent I paid in NZD. With the exchange rate falling since February, $60 is a lot more now (over NZD$90), but if I only get what I paid and try to use that to buy the record off ebay it won't amount to as much.

OK, I actually looked at my paypal transaction, and it's in USD so that question is of the table.

I don't know if that makes my decision easier. I don't mind getting another record, even if I can't pick it. I'll probably wait. I could always pick up the original later if I feel that upset by the rerelease.

Kind of embarrassing. Glad I bailed months ago and got the album elsewhere. Loads of cheap blue originals around folks, and they sound amazing. Go get 'em!

When you see Mike Watt posting daily on various social media pages not giving a damn or answering fan's posts / messages about the status of his own record reissue who folks have been giving money too, I knew something just didn't feel right with this order. I'm glad I bailed months back on this.
