I got the MLB and Wu Tang. Wished I had gotten the Husker Du, went back and it was gone. Oh well.

Didn't really get too excited about a lot of these releases.

I had the Big Lebowski on white Russian vinyl, j masis 45, bowie&pop mixes version of Raw Power (not RSD, 2012 legacy reissue) and copy of Lou Reed Transformer (not RSD release), but put em all back when I noticed a used copy of No Code sitting high up on a shelf. so my RSD haul is a minty No Code on vinyl with Kodak pics included and nothing more. next stop was electronics shop to get a new stylus for my TT, gonna take it for a loud spin. Local stores didn't have copies of MLB 7" so glad that I didn't wait and see and ordered thru 10Club.

I put back quite a few things that it looks like many want (on ebay). Someone grabbed the last copy of J Mascis right before I saw it. Ha. Sucks. That's what i wanted most. A lot of stuff was too expensive (Velvet Underground, Beatles 45, Elvis, etc.).

Bought Love Bone, Lebowski sdtrk, live Green Day and the non-RSD Fugazi 1st Demo (cuz it kicks ass).

Went back and got Husker and the Looking for Johnny soundtrack.if anyone has an extra J. Mascis and wants to trade/sell, please lemme know.

I was absolutely shocked that my record store had pretty much everything when I got out of work tonight. I decided to pick up

The Good The Bad and The Ugly Soundtrack
    Game of Throne Soundtrack
    Green Day
    Dave Matthews Band: Recently
    Guardians of the Galaxy Cassette

Scored MLB last night (but there were plenty at the store tonight) and raided Third Man online this morning. Pretty solid haul, but I capped myself at $200. Can justify spending much more.

If you've made it this far, here's the mushy part:

I started a new job in September that doesn't permit me to communicate here too much anymore, and I just wanted to say that I miss the hell out of this place and y'all -- well, most of y'all anyway b-( . I sincerely feel like something's missing.

    :\"> :\"> :\">

At any rate, take 'er easy, friends.

Bagged MLB through 10c last night, so that's a solid. Spent the day in rural northern MN today, so I missed out. Will be back in Minneapolis/St Paul tomorrow. Hope to maybe find a couple of things tomorrow.

I had a pretty good day:
MLB 7" - in fact, my local store still had several copies of this when I left after two hours.
Frozen 7" - for my daughter and, I'm not ashamed to say for me too :)
Run DMC - "Christmas in Hollis" 7"
Metallica - "Lords of Summer" 12"
New Order - "Factus 8R" 12" - really happy about this one
"Morrissey Curates the Ramones" 12" - I had no idea I even wanted this until I saw it sitting on the shelf

I also picked up some cool non-RSD stuff:
A clean, old copy of Bruce Springsteen's "Darkness on the Edge of Town" LP
The Cure's "Standing on a Beach" US gatefold LP, to complement the CD and cassette versions I already have
The Beastie Boys "Sounds of Science" used 2CD
Iron Maiden's "Stanger in a Strange Land" and "2 Minutes to Midnight" reissue 7" records

Finally, I also picked up the Vs/Vitalogy super deluxe set here at the shop using the 30% code and I think I'm also going to pick up some 2014 HD boots and the "Closing the Spectrum" box set.

My conscience and bank account hate me right now :)
