    PJ doesn't release alot of stuff pre-2000. Theres the vault #1, the dissident set, live on 2 legs, vault #3, .. that's about it.... there probably isn't anything because they haven't release a whole lot from the pre-bootleg era. Jack drummer on the tail end of the vitalogy tour, the fairly small no code tour, and the Aussie leg of the Yield tour.. I guess overall it's not a large chunk of shows... we'll probably get something eventually. I'm a big fan of the melbourne '98 boot that circulates out there.

    I was at the MSG show in '98 and I've never been able to find a really good copy of it. But I've heard what must be a SB recording on PJ Radio, so I'd really love to have that boot!

    Oh, and I know that wasn't Jack in '98, just saying that they do have good quality recordings of the older shows in the vault. I'm don't know why they don't want my money, LOL!

    Yield is my favorite album. I love No Code. But live, I felt Jack was the least impressive drummer. Just my opinion though.
    words seem so out of place.

    Yup, not great live. You could see the band get frustrated at times with him.

    Frustrated with Jack ? no way , the man has so much groove in hi's playing ...i saw them with him at least 4 times never noticed the band getting upset with his drumming

    I suppose it depends what the quality of recordings from that time are like. If it's poor quality, they ain't gonna release it.

    Jack was a great drummer, just not for this band. If you compare them with any point from Jack and even 1998 with Matt, they were much tighter with Matt.

    I seem to recall reading that they weren't necessarily taping full shows prior to 98, and weren't taping with the idea of releasing shows. The pre-98 shows that have come out have bits and chunks missing. If they were taping direct soundboards, the sound quality wouldn't be that great because they'd be getting a mix for the venue, not for home stereos.

    Don't think so. They've released like 5-6 dave A shows and they don't even like him. Jack shows are coming
