Hi Jammer Friends!

This is an "unofficial" meetup for the greater Philly area fans. We will have a more official one early next year!

If you're able to make it, come and hang out - talk about post-tour depression, favorite songs, getting psyched for the next tour, etc. :)

We'll start at the Forgotten Broadwalk Brewery recommend by local area PJ friends, and the owners are Pearl Jam fans too! *winning*

Check out their website here: https://www.forgottenboardwalk.com/

the food truck that will be there that day: https://www.forgottenboardwalk.com/events/calendar/mobile-food-truck-mixin-bowl-truck

They close at 8pm, so if we want to continue the shenanigans, we can move to another bar nearby.
Tell your fellow philly PJ fans and friends.

The FB link doesn't work for me but I would like to be there.
    What time?
In addition, Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey has a "Mug N Hug" style Welcome Home Greeting around 1:30 or 2 PM in Cherry Hill that day if anyone wants to come help welcome home a local Hero...

I can easily shed some light into this. New Jersey law requires breweries to "not act like a bar" and cannot serve or sell food. This is due to the Restaurant Association and Liquor License Associations in the state that have very high powered lobbyists that dictate and keep restrictions on what breweries are allowed to do in New Jersey. How do I know? I'm the co-owner. Cheers and hope to see you guys out there!

Ah crap -- 2.5 miles from my house but I am down at my in-laws in Vineland on Saturday night. A delayed birthday party for 2 family members so there is no way to get around. Maybe (if you start around 4) can cruise over for an hour. Will need to check on this but I like the idea of getting to meet more of the local PJ freaks!

I thought the serving of alcohol by a brewery on the premises had to be part of a tour of the brewery process? I know a couple guys who run a local brewery and they are limited to selling growlers for consumption off the premises in addition to their sales to bar and restaurant accounts.

All those places have liquor licenses to serve alcohol like any other restaurant. It's a separate license from the brewery. I know more bartenders than I care to admit.
