So yesterday just before the 10c ticket office opened, the Denver Nuggets team was hanging out in box office. The kid I was with who is 17 is a huge fan and went up to Nate Robinson and Nate agreed. As we were trying to take the picture, this big ol security guy pushes us away and screams "get back in like or your 10 club memberships are gone!" So apparently taking a picture is grounds for getting your membership revoked. Keep on your power trip, buddy.

We got the picture, kind of. The lovely security guard is part of our blurry memory.

That doesn't look like any pearl jam security to me. And i know of couple of them. They are super cool and doubt they'd do something lame like this. Pearl jam has some awesome dudes who work security for them. I'm not trying to kiss ass, I just know this to being true.

Regardless, it's not right to threaten to take away membership for asking for a photo with someone who has no relation to or probably doesn't even know who Pearl jam is

Yeah, sounds like a peach. I wouldn't give him a break, I'd give him remedial customer service training. If this was in the box office, opened to the public, then this security guy was out of line for acting like a douche. A simple request? Sure. Pushing and yelling and threatening to revoke memberships? Sounds like a power trip.

This is why I'm against a cell phone ban at shows. Power drunk knuckleheads like this guy would be enforcing it. Obviously they have enough "authority" as it is.

This is why I'm for a meathead ban in the general public.

Give HIM a break? Fuck that and fuck him. He should give the fans a break. Threatening to revoke a fans club membership? Lame. And I honestly would've LOVED to see that happen and to have someone come and post that they were bounced out of the club by a security guard. And who cares that you talked to him and he's a nice guy. Nothing nice about that shit. "He nuggets players look at me, I'm threatening to revoke memberships so I can look COOL to you guys." Fuck out of here.

Hey Wes it was great hanging out yesterday. The show was great and both my kid and I had a great time. As far as the thing with the security guy sorta crazy. Just like you said we are hanging out waiting for 10c will call to open up and a bunch of nuggets players walk up and my kid likes Nate and went up to ask for a picture and Nate was great and said sure so you guys get ready for the pic I'm taking the picture and all the sudden the security guy came and made a big deal instead of just saying hey no pictures or something like that

Maybe the guy was told to be that way I don't know but anybody that knows my kid or you know that you are about as nice as it gets. Anyway not a big deal coulda been handled better. The show was awesome for my kids first Pearl Jam concert and a new generation gets why we love this band so much. Also I'm sure the security guy is probably a good dude. Just read the situation wrong.
