Look, its an amazing set list, but there will never be a 'best' set with these guys.

Of the Earth and Last Kiss are two of my bottom 7 songs from this band, so i'd say No, not even close to best ever setlist. Hell, Insignificance isn't on there :)

Sure it was an amazing show tho. Cheers, Denver!

Sorry but Moline and Milwaukee will be the two shows most fans talk about years from now. The No Code and Yield shows are historic. Denver was amazing... but they will have shows like Denver on almost every tour. They wont have Moline and Milwaukee on every tour. Just my opinion.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

No, but very good and looking forward to hearing the bootleg. I'm guessing many of the people who vote yes will have been in the audience.

I can't say best ever, because no FON! However, it's a great set list, and I'll definitely want to hear the boot!

this. moline & milwaukee will go down in PJ lore.

denver will be known as just another good PJ show.

No. Great setlist, but this is Pearl Jam we are talking about here and there are plenty of other great shows out there with amazing setlists. Personally I would take Leeds over any setlist from this tour, and would probably put a few more shows ahead of Denver's from this year too.

    Great? Yes. Epic? Absolutely.

    Best ever? No.

It was a great show (and I was the closest I ever was) but I didn't think there was anything special about the setlist besides the length. Of The Earth was a cool surprise though

Looks like an awesome show... wish I'd gotten to go. However, compare the fan reactions found in dimi's Moline and Milwaukee setlist threads to the reactions in the Denver setlist thread.

I loved it, but I was at all 4 Spectrum shows. Those were epic. As for 2014, I would say Denver or Moline were the top set lists. No Code songs are rarely played as it is, but front to back? I see a lot of shows, and I feel we get a decent amount off Yield throughout the tour, so I don't personally think it compares to No Code set in Moline. But I wasn't at Milwaukee, so...

Having never done a full album front to back was crazy, but if they start doing that more often, I think it will kill the excitement of knowing what's coming. So I liked the variety of Denver. And for those who claim it was like any other show, I don't agree. Of the Earth? Leatherman? Don't Gimme No Lip? Ghost? Those aren't ones you get to hear often anymore. Even Moline and Milwaukee still got the basic encore enders and "hit" songs. They still have to reach to the non-diehards who come for the songs they hear on the radio.

So for 2014, I say Moline or Denver got the better songs. Memphis and Milwaukee close behind.

Denver was epic but lets not say one is the best. They are all good but Denver was just a fun awesome show.

for me songs 23-27 were a downer. future days into sleight of hand must have killed any energy that was built up.

I had the same thought, although I love Sleight of Hand. Milwaukee had a similar weak first encore save I Won't Back Down.

They build the energy back up though with the last 8 songs being greatest hits. The one downside to going to a lot of shows is the knowledge that (at least on this tour) after the 5th song of the first encore you can pretty much write out the end of the setlist. Most bands don't even make it to a 5th song in an encore so no complaints here.

I checked it this morning expecting to be super jealous, but I wasn't at all. Any PJ show is a good one, but I was more jealous of Detroit's set.

it was though. and agree with the comment that the same pretty much happened in milwaukee. don't know when the first encore has pretty much become an ed solo show.
