Moline & Milwaukee

These two shows are THE best shows pearl jam has played since year 2000 imo.For these guys to not only play both albums front to back but also the same version as back in the days they came out has left me absolutely stunned. No show can compare.thank you pj.

Ummmm, good shows but best? Out of how many, 600 shows? You see any of the 96 tour or early 2000?

I have to agree. The shows were unique for sure. Had to be fun for all that were there, but I can't say the best.

    Why would they consider that?

I don't have enough shows under my belt to say best. Didn't think I'd see one that would resonate on a personal level the way night 1 of PJ20 did. But moline was fantastic. Listening to it again is taking me back...while simtaneously making me hope it won't be too long before I have a chance to see them play again.

I agree with you 100%! Obviously Moline was special because of the No Code factor, but I thought the crowd energy in Detroit was off the charts! It was loud in there. I haven't listened to the boots yet, I hope they didn't turn down the crowd too much like some of the Europe 2012 boots.

The boot is amazing! I think it totally recaptures the energy from that night. Crowd is loud Eddie sounds very on point. Overall just an awesome show!

  • I am totally stoked that they played No code from front to back.
I wasn't even there and I still I am enthousiastic. The fact that it's my favourite album has something to do with it. Great to have it on bootleg and enjoy this great night.
That being said I will have to agree with others here and say it's not the best since 2000.
There are so many special boots out there that such a statement seems too much for me. If for no other reason Benaroya Hall alone makes that statement seem to be over the top.
It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

Just listened to a boot of Live at the Showbox couple days ago. That and Bennaroya are spectacular. Didn't get to go to either Moline or Milwaukee so can't compare. I'm preferential to older stuff and shows I've personally experienced. Older stuff is just more raw in your face kinda feeling. Just wish my first show was before 2006... \m/

I agree but I've been lucky enough to be going since 94 I have about 35 shows counting solo gigs nothing too crazy anyway Detroit 14 and Moline blew them all away for me! Had some pretty awesome shows that I thought would never be topped! Pearl Jam seems be to be like a fine wine. You age them and they get better and better! I was blown away by this tour. After 2011 which I thought was there worst I thought it was all down hill from there!!!

I kept missing Moline on Sirius XM. I really would love to listen to this show. Bootleg is on it's way here, so I guess I'll wait it out.
