ya I broke down and bought the variant...had the two guys ahead of me in the merch line last night bought the last 10 posters i probably wouldn't have even considered buying another one. I thought there was a 2 limit on the posters...am i wrong?

Someone told me that the people working the merch booths are venue staff. So the 2 poster limit is something that is enforced completely randomly.I saw a couple people buy 5+ posters.

Pulled the trigger on the AP. They really are nice in person. Looks like there is some glitter ink used.

It kinda blows when an artist's store won't ship outside of the USA. There hasn't been any artists on Pearl Jam's roster that has done this before. This is the first, that I know of. I'm hoping this is the last time this artist does a Pearl Jam poster.

What's the difference on the variant? The description says "hand embellished border", but I don't really see a difference looking at the pictures...

Anybody that landed a variant and would want to trade let me know. Have the show edition and the AP, a Cincinnati poster, sticker and pin, and a St.Louis pin. Throw in some cash in a possible combination.

I think those variants are gonna be hard to come by. And when so there gonna cost a pretty penny.

True, but many variant prints aren't a home run. Few of them have dropped in price & easy to find. Some lower then what the original artist price have sold for.

Are variants usually as low of a run as 15 though?
Typically the artist keeps one and maybe the band as well...
So only 13-14....May keep the value up IMO...

...but expressobeans only has one of his prints listed that was hand-embellished, and there isn't any data on it. As this is his first PJ print maybe the value will go up, but who knows....as long as you like the print that's all that really matters!

I watched the people working the stand, actually search thru the posters to find the non s/n variants for people who requested it....

i meant to say that i know the answer of that question. rather, the ^ was more about the fact that i agree with the argument that this print may hold its value, or even escalate.

Just realized this morning that I scored the variant from the merch stand! It was such a miserable merch experience with the wait, weather, slow service, indecisive fans, etc. That I just rolled the poster up and put it in the tube w/o really looking at it closely.
