Long story short... I have my ticket stub from every show I've been to. Like many, I love looking at them and enjoying the memories... then I somehow managed to LOSE my Wrigley stub. I had a feeling it was around and would eventually surface and wasn't losing sleep, until a year and two moves later and it had failed to appear.
Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I drove an insane distance to trade our pickup truck for a more reasonable family hauler. Somehow, despite the fact that I had meticulously cleaned my truck (which was never really a mess anyway) my stub apparently stayed hidden in my truck. A week later my stub (and a couple other treasured momentos) shows up in the mail with a sticky note reading "This looked like it could be important to you!"

want to hear a crazier story... the op is my little brother and my pj concert buddy. He attended the rapid city, sd show in 1995 but I did not. He also misplaced that stub at some point and had figured it was a lost cause as so many years had gone by. During the intervening 19 years, I moved to NJ and then moved within NJ 6 times until we settled in our current house about 10 years ago now. Last year, I was going through some junk in a box and what do I find? a rapid city, sd pj ticket stub from that 1995 show. I have no idea how I got it in the first place. I have no idea how it did not get lost in all of those moves!! I know it is not mine because I did not go to that show. It had to be his. Crazy! You got lucky twice now, brother! (see you in 9 days!)
