Backspacer is the album my now almost 8 year-old son heard and sang most going to and from daycare. St. Paul will be his first show. Whatever gets played will be great, but these two rarely played gems would be an amazing reminder of those days that went by too quickly.

    having never heard either of these tunes live (i would really like to hear gsmf, especially) and having tix to st. paul, this is a request i can get behind.

    The imagery in Force of Nature is so powerful. I love the picture of a man standing by the shore, eyes fixed on the horizon, forever devoted to a watch that will likely be fruitless. Please play this song in St. Paul, gentlemen.

    Well, Jack's Halloween 2014 shirt arrived in the mail today just in time for his first pj show. He'll have to tuck a lot of it in. If last night is any indication, he might be in a side section on the railing rocking out.

    About to head downtown to pick up tickets. Jack's first show is my 32nd. You think it'd be old hat by now, but I haven't been this excited since show 1 in 1995.
