It was special for sure. Those first 7 songs in that opening set before the storm hit were perfection. Then they come back out for 2.5 hours and rock Wrigley Field until 2 am.

Pretty cool that thousands of people traveled to Chicago to see the Wrigley show. People met up, made new friends, made friends for life. Ya cant beat that! But as far as the show? Well lets face it, the RAIN kinda, sorta, put a damper on things, at least for me. What could have been "THE SHOW OF SHOWS", well....Was still a good time ...But WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN? All in all still a great time, and always good to see old faces and some new faces.
And I give Mr. Vedder and the rest of the boys all the credit in the world. Because they could have very easily walked away, after an hour of rain, and basically packed it in. But they played a full show and they rocked it till 2am. And by 2am I couldn't wait to get my ass home and go to bed.

Yep, the severe weather/evacuation certainly changed everything. But in some ways made the experience that much more special, in a lot of very unique ways. An experience never to be repeated
