I don't agree with much of it, but it is a funny and educated to an extent read. Lots of topics covered, funny

It was definitely well informed and not a dickhead Pitchfork type profile. Funny at times too. And that VMA performance pretty much changed my life. I was 13 and completely mesmerized. It must have been what it was like to see the Beatles for the first time on Ed Sullivan. I can't express what the effect was on me, a young man figuring out the world and who he was or wanted to become. Sounds crazy from just seeing a couple dudes play a rock song but I knew it was something different and I wanted to be a part of it. I'll never forget talking to my friends about it the next day. One of my friends said Ed looked "retarded" when he sang. I sort of agreed but I remember thinking it was a pretty "cool retarded."
Some interesting insights - what if yield came out after vs?
But this guy can't find a song on Binaural that he likes? And then talks about how good backspacer is? WTF.
Thanks OP for posting - enjoyed the read, and reflecting on my own experiences and opinions along the way. Totally disagree about Binaural of course - for me, that was the album that took me from casual fan to fan. Fun read - nothing in there to get riled up about
