I had not seen this thread before. Having now seen it, I FULLY support this!

Even though I can't stand the Red Wings (& the reference to them in the thread title irks me ) I would lose it if they played BRY. I crank that one in the car every time it comes on!

I know it's a long shot & I may never hear it but I said the same thing about "Hold On" , another one of my favorites, before the Wrigley show. So, you never know!

I see Dave & LeeAnn have both been beating me up since I've been away. ) Yes, the Blackhawks reference is much better but Dave is correct. The show isn't in Chicago.

And I couldn't believe it when they named the Blue Jackets. Fans in Columbus having to cheer "Go Blue"! I had absolutely no problem with that & I found it quite amusing. )

Back to the topic at hand....

We would absolutely love to hear some Black, Red, & Yellow!!!

Oh, and please let me know where you might be hanging out. I had an idea or 2 and I may be dragged where our group goes but that can all change.

I want this song so bad, I'd settle for Black(hawks), Red, Yellow, even if the mere thought of Toews, his girlfriend Kane, or Seabroke makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
I can't imagine Chelios won't be at this show so maybe we can compromise with Black(hawks), Red(wings), Yellow. Does that work?

We figured Chelios would be there also.

A friend of mine ran into Chelios at his bar before a Tigers game a few weeks back & he did say that he will be at the Detroit show.

I thought for sure they were gonna play it in Bklyn last year after he introduced Dennnis Rodnsn who was in the GA! I'll be in Detroit for this show and would love to hear it!

My poster from the Eddie Vedder solo show at the Fox is still in its tube as it reeks of Chelios! One day I may hang it up with the rest, but his days as a Blackhawk and how he behaved to my precious Wings still trumps anything he did in a Red Wings uniform.

i remember seeing pics of Ed, Cheli, and John Cusack hitting balls in Comerica directly after his '11 Fox Theatre show, and i also remember Ed saying from the stage that Detroit was NOT going to be a stop, until Cheli talked him into it. That, and his playing days as a Wing, more then pay penance for those B-Hawk days.

And also, yeah play BRY!!!! Screw the Hawks, Yellow Jackets, and the lot of ya! lol. This is DETROIT we're talking about here!!!
