I would like to vote for hot dogs. I like hot dogs. I had a hotdog for lunch 2 days in a row. Should I make it 3 days in a row? I like hot dogs.

Saugy dogs are less like ball park franks and more like spiced up versions of an Oscar Meyer, longer, less fat, more snap. Better grilled than boiled. It's amazing but hot dogs are a regional fare and like this great nation, there's a zillion ways to Sunday with hot diggity dogs! Places like chi-town put cucumbers on them! Magine that?

Are "Italian" hot dogs something that was made up by east coast Americans? It's a hot dog in big fluffy bun with fried peppers, onions and potatoes piled on top. I'd never heard of it until I moved out here and don't see why they are considered Italian. :-/

Yeah, I guess it's an Italian roll. The bread seems to be a vital part of the package. Light and fluffy but slightly crusty on the outside. It's honestly too many carbs for me (potatoes and bread?? Really?) but others seem to find it pleasing.
