    Thanks PJ for staying true to yourselves. I never would have guessed over 20 years ago that my new favorite band would still be around and so relevant. Now people are finally starting to understand my lifelong obsession.

    I fell in love with this band and their awesome music and the love keeps growing with every passing day.
    My daughter thinks it's addiction...
    My husband thinks it's obsession...
    They may me both right, but it's so much more than that.
    I am grateful to this band beyond words for so many things.

    Today I received a beautiful (early) Birthday Card from a 10c member who I don't really know very well. The card included great pictures of the band and lyrics to "Better Days".

    The card was so thoughtful and beautiful it made my day!!!

    Thank you PJ for everything : you have changed my life for 20 years this month !! I listen to your music every day. It speaks to my soul, your words mean so many things to me. I love the energy, the melodies, the way I feel the songs. Maybe some people around me say i'm obsessed but every PJ fan know it's much more than this...

    great thread.

    i'll add i'm too grateful that the band is still making music. they inspire me so much. i would not be ME without them. thank you for simply doing what you do pearl jam! :D

    the journey has been incredible +
    met and still have friends that understand the passion involved
    many miles & hotel rooms to make it all happen
    it has never been about money, cause it's priceless
    all i can say is "thank-you" but i feel that's not enough...
    but how do you respond to something so positive that you have been given, that keeps giving like it does? some people will never get it. others are the direct opposite
    i know it will outlast me and i remain grateful for the many things that we have shared

    i'm totally blessed.

    by co-incidence my upcoming 50th show happened to land in a city that i have a new found love for. i'd like to think of it as a sign that it happened that way. certainly it's a miracle.

    Recently, I had to get through a difficult time and listened to "Rearview Mirror" on repeat for almost 3 months. It kept me focused on the day it would all be behind me.... I'll be forever grateful for that song!
