How about a New England Mini tour

Sure they've played Massachusetts and Connecticut a bunch but its time to show the other great states in New England some love! They've never played New Hampshire or Vermont and have only played Rhode Island once back in 1991 and Maine once in 1996. At least come back to Maine, lobsters and fried clams are on me haha! :)

I have proposed before a three day festival up at limestone. I wouldn't mind a New England tour either. I'll hold you to the lobsters!

    Wind this thing up.

Delaware + Vermont + New Hampshire + Rhode Island + Maine < greater Houston Metropolis.

No show in Houston in 10+ years.

    that is all.

    Let's get some priorities straight

... besides do all you new englanders really want the entire PJ fan club community of New York/Boston to descend on your towns for these shows?
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

throw in Maine and Connecticut you could drive that whole Tour in a rental car, smaller cities or towns usually make the best shows, but a concert at New Hampshire Motor Speedway would be awesome, but not on a race weekend, you could easily get 50,000 in there for a concert, and the sound systems at race tracks are the best because you have to hear over the engines, plus there is plenty of RV parking in the infield, you could easily get 50,000 Pearl Jam fans in there, have a couple days of Tailgating, Pearl Jam fans just chilling out listening to Pearl Jam, almost like a Pearl Jam festival, what else are you going to do in New Hampshire? actually you could probably get 80,000, sell the tickets for 50.00, have all sorts of souvenir extras, there are a ton of Pearl Jam fans up there, dream big, right?

They actually have played VT in 1991. If I knew they would never play that state again I would have made the trip.

11 years since they played anywhere in Kentucky. Yes Kentucky, it's closer to me than Indianapolis!

This is a great idea, aside from the mess that it would be to get tickets :)

    Boston, MA x 2
    Springfield, MA
    Hartford, CT x 2
    Providence, RI
    Burlington, VT
    Manchester, NH
    Portland, ME

That makes for a nice little 9 show tour!

I was at the Great Went and Lemonwheel. As much as I loved those shows, I don't think Pearl Jam could draw the crowds up there.

I am all for a mini-new england tour though!

This is actually a great suggestion that I have never thought of, even after living in NH for the past 8 years. I have been to the track once and there is enough space here to satisfy Pearl Jam fans from all over. Located conveniently about an hour and a half from Boston-plenty of parking/camp parking close to the intestate but not far from the woods. As for the New Yorkers descending upon our "tiny villages"- they already do. The smaller the town the larger the attraction apparently, and the a Pearl Jam based crowd would be a million times better than a NASCAR crowd, probably about a gazillion-trillion.

    Wind this thing up.
