I'll take any Ontario show but my wishlist of venues would have to be... #1 LONDON - if you were there last summer, you know. #2 HAMILTON - best audience in Ontario. #3 ACC TORONTO - Only because 2 nights would be likely. Seems like the Buffalo show in the fall was mostly Canadians, so hopefully we can see something happen on our side this spring.

I'd take another Kitchener show over any of those option. Then again, I am sure you would too; that's just a place that they will likely never return to.

barf.... Kool Haus is such a 'blah' venue... whenever I'm there I'm usually looking around, waiting for the stage to collapse, the lights to come down, lasers start coming on and the rave kids to start running through the door with glow sticks at any minute...

that being said, one of the coolest shows i've ever seen was at that place... Audioslave circa 2005 on the warm up tour prior to the Out of Exile stadium tour....

If I'm going to pick a venue in Toronto, I was Lee's Palace, Opera House, Massey Hall, or the Horseshoe.... Wouldn't mind a little Disease either, but that's just off the wall bonkers
    ;)
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Yeah, the Kool Haus is a pretty crappy venue - although I was at that Audioslave show too in 2005 and it was great! Saw QOTSA and NIN there around the same time as well (crazy to think of those bands playing there nowadays).

I would take the Opera House over KH any day.

I'd take Kool Haus over Lee's any day. Sight lines at Lee's may be unbeatable but it's probably one of the most uncomfortable venues to stand and watch a show at. I love the Horseshoe. Also, Sneaky Dee's. Played there a bunch years ago and always go back for their food when I'm in the TO.

I pretty much agree with everything here. Although I'm not sure they would play BMO with the Amphitheatre just across the bridge (there's only ever been one concert at BMO anyway). Ricoh isn't a great venue (I worked there for 4 years) and the Queen Elizabeth Theatre is the primary mid-sized venue now at the Exhibition grounds.

There's a few venues like the Danforth Music Hall, Echo Beach and Downsview Park (as terrible as that venue is) that could be considered. Hell, they should just play a free show at Yonge-Dundas Square.

you don't play at the horseshoe for the sound, or the aesthetics, or the amenities, or the stage...

you play at the horseshoe for the history...

Dude you can't compare the KH to venues like lees. Lees holds like 550 and KH like 2300.

Not sure what type of music you listen to but the sound and sight lines at the KH are one of the best in toronto, comparing it to venues it's size. ie sound academy.

We all have our favourite venues though buy being realistic I picked the KH since it holds a lot of people and still feels like a small show.

Venues under 1000 I'd go with the Phoenix and opera house any day.

I'll even take an amphitheatre show even though the sound sucks!

I was @ the Horseshoe Tavern back in '11 where Mudhoney played. It was alright.
I could see a RNDM, Brad or Flight To Mars show happening there.
But PJ? I couldn't see it happen.

Still no love for the Rogers Centre? lol

How about the BMO Field? http://bmofield.com/experience/bmo-field-rentals/

I worked at the Skydome for 4 years and I think it would be tough for PJ to pull off a decent show there (perhaps with the roof open?). It's just too cavernous a venue.

AC/DC, Roger Waters and U2 were ok in there, but just look at the immense stage setup:

Although, admittedly, this is a pretty cool view:

Also, this thread has made me realize how many damn venues this city has (not a bad thing).

Roger Waters The Wall and DSOTM were 2 of the best shows I've ever seen, but that said the Dome is also one of the worst venues for concerts. The echo is horrible.

I would trade every piece of PJ memorabilia I own + pay face value for a ticket to Pearl Jam at Lee's Palace if I couldn't get tickets in the fan club lottery.

Jeff's already been there. I'm sure he liked it.

You might be Teddy fan, Shep, but I am not. I don't like the guy at all....

The Horseshoe, when it's packed, is my least fave venue in Toronto. Sight-lines are terrible.
