Is anyone staying at the Atlantis Hotel near the venue and then also needs to get to the airport for the 6:25 flight to Berlin the next morning? I was looking at public transportation and it doesn't look like anything will run early enough for us to make our flight. So it looks like we'll be taking a taxi and would love to split the cost with someone if they are in the same predicament we are in.

    Hi,

Damn that's an early flight!! Where you staying in Berlin? I haven't booked anything yet. Im seeing the Vienna and Berlin shows. Happy to meet up as Im flying solo to these shows.

    daz

We're not sure where in Berlin exactly we are staying. Somewhere near the city center probably. I'm waiting to see what the group rate comes in at from the Berlin forum post as it would be nice to stay near other Ten Clubbers. I'm dreading the early flight but it was the only cheap flight for the day that got us to Berlin early enough. We are happy to meet up as well. Met some cool people in Australia last year so we have a soft spot for Aussie's!

I'm entering for Amsterdam, Vienna & Berlin, so hopefully I will win! I actually already booked a flight from Vienna to Berlin on the 26th of June today!! So I'll be going anyway! What is the capacity of the venue?

How did you go? I asked for the same. I won Vienna and Berlin :)

Frohe Weihnachten! My german is a little bit rusty, but I think I would recover some everyday deutsch during my stay in Vienna and Berlin.
I tried to get tickets for the WC in Brazil and it's frustrating, so fuck FIFA and the ticketing system! I'm coming from Argentina, I got tickets for the first 5 gigs including Berlin but the Vienna - Berlin trip is the one that concerns me for the time constrains. Air Berlin 6:25 is the first option to get there on time, second the rock bus and third renting a car. The night train leaves Vienna early, so guys is there any other option?
Hope to meet great jammers on tour!

The S-Banh starts its services at 4.30 (and then runs every half hour) from the Wien Mitte station. It's only 4.20euro for a one way trip so if you took a taxi to the station from the hotel, you'd probably end up saving a fair bit.

The Atlantis offers a free shuttle to airport. I'm not sure how often it goes, but it might save you some cash. I booked it too.

Really? We're booked for there too - didn't notice anything about an airport transfer.

No. My other show is going to be Stockholm. I haven't booked my flight yet, but I hope to leave around noon.

Nope we're booked at the hotel Atlantis.

We're not going to Berlin unfortunately (unless we stumble across some kind of monetary fortune before then).

Where are you seeing the shuttle for the Atlantis? I don't see anything about it on their website.

Do you think that we should book somewhere near the venue? In terms of transportation etc.

Its not really necessary to book a hotel near the venue. Public transportation in vienna is 1A! You have the metro, trains, busses and a few other possibilities to get from A to B within a very short time. Vienna isn't so big. You have the metro U6 to get to the venue.

Let me know if i can help you

Thank you! I actually booked through hotels.com. I only see it mentioned once anywhere on the page so it made me start worrying that it's a typo. I emailed hotels.com and they are promising me the hotel offers an airport shuttle. They told me to contact the hotel for details so I'm going to call them and find out times and fees associated.

We booked at NH Wien (7th District) . It's supposed to be right next to a metro station so I'm guessing (hoping!) we'll be ok!

Thats perfect! If i'm right its directly at the biggest shopping street in vienna, called Mariahilfer Strasse! In one direction you get directly to the 1st district, the inner city of vienna. You will love it!!! The other direction leads to the venue. Very easy to get whereever you want. I think its a 15-20 minutes walk, in both directions. With the metro even faster!
