East Ruth 06. Around the 5 min mark is the Ed part that i've never heard before. I was at the show and remember being floored.

This would have been my call as far as ones I've seen live it was amazing. Forgot about Holmdel until just before also.

    Wrigley was pretty amazing also.

    Can you see me now
    I am myself

Those are some pretty good versions I saw listed. I'm surprised by the fact that here near the third page in this thread that Osaka 2003 has yet to be mentioned. This was an amazing version that found Mike wailing incredibly. When Stone went into his solo (one of his best), Mike did an underlying black Sabbath riff. After this absolutely amazing version of Porch, they blasted into a blistering version of Save-You without stopping, medley style. People in this board talked about this for a few years as one of the best versions. So my vote goes to that version.

Soldier Field 1995 - How many fucking songs did Mike tag during the extended jam? This is the best 'jam' they've ever done in my opinion. The guitar interplay is something that will be locked in time as a perfect musical moment. I love how it quiets down and then just fucking roars on back in. Jack's drumming during this particular show has never been matched.

Eddie Vedder San Antonio November 2012... Becasue I had no idea he would try a song like that alone.. and he had that base drum thing.. and kicked it's ass. This following Lukin, in a show where I expected him to play those boring (forgive me) ukulele songs... it was like being taken to heaven.

    Some of my favorites.
What I find interesting about Porch is how it has evolved over the years. Back in the day it was amazing, then late 90's to around 2003 (with an exception here and there) I found it to be pretty "lacking". It seems since around 2006, it has picked up again. They'll never be able to recreate the energy from the early days but of late it seems like it's gotten a bit of a boost.

The best versions IMO are those with long, extended jams where Mike and Stone go back and forth while layering the sound off of eachother.
I'll admit, I'm bored of Even Flow and many of their "well known" fan pleasers. Porch NEVER gets old, and of late is pretty f'n awesome!

Love Porch but Wouldn't mind more sets with Garden,Deep and Release in extended jam versions. The evolution of how porch has been played live really keeps it fresh.

There's far too many for me to narrow it down to one version but the ones getting a mention are indeed great versions. My first show in Dublin had a good version with a nice jam but my favourite from the 3 I've seen is easily Hyde Park 10. A fun night it was too... :D
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
    Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/12

I do wish they would go back to the early set 3 minute version of Porch from time to time.

    Same with Rearviewmirror.

3/29/94 is a comparable version. I actually prefer it...but there is absolutely no denying the greatness of Atlanta 4/3/94. Also acceptable is 4/2/94 Atlanta...the night before is a stellar version too.

East Ruth 2006 2. Ed jammed with them after his smoke and it added an awesome element. Not to mention it was around 11 mins long.

I've been listening to this bootleg the past couple of days and saw this post. I haven't reached porch yet and it was all I could do to resist skipping ahead to see what the fuss was about. I'm glad I didn't bc I got to it last night and it was worth the wait! Def a contender for best porch. My other favs have also already been mentioned several times. Melbourne 3/17/95 and Atlanta 94.
