Buy them all!!!! If the first 3 shows is any indication of this tour, sell the house, sell the stocks and bonds, sell your wife/gf, these boots are more important than life itself. Toronto 1 is excellent.

I can't believe they played Satans Bed & Rats...no fucking way. that is amazing.

I assume Satan's Bed was a little more planned and hopefully better quality than State College '03? :) I was there and even that was shocking and amazing.

Not so. There aren't too many suprises you can pull out in an 80 minute set opening for 'ol man Petty.

Seems to me that they're going to have an opportunity to really surprise the audience each night out. You KNOW they're going to play 8 or more songs off the new album, so that takes about 1/3 of the setlist right there. Then they have to work in some of their bigger hits in order to keep the casual concert-goer in it.

After that, there's a limited amount of what they can play each night. From the first few setlists, it looks like they're going to play something completely out of left field each night. They did some of this on the NA tour of 2005 when Black Red Yellow and Bee Girl made spotty appearances.

I like the diversity in the setlists so far. Congrats to all who got to hear a decent Satan's Bed and Rats!

Both Satan's Bed and Rats sounded tight and rehearsed, not at all like the '03 State College disaster. I think Ed used his lyrics sheet for Rats (to my eyes he seemed to be looking down from time to time).

    WELL SAID.
I'm very excited about the differences in what is played at each show... and I'm dangerously close to doing whatever I can to follow Pearl Jam! Sell the house, the husband,well... maybe not the kids, I'll bring them with me! They're 3 1/2 and 9 mos., they'll have a blast, right?!

Well, it will be cooler than hear Jeremy three nights in a row and Alive in the 2nd encore every night!

Satan's Bed is awesome. It's got a dorkiness factor to it but it's been a fave of mine from Vitalogy ever since I first heard it on the Atlanta '94 broadcast.

Ed was going on about the "Albany River Rats" banners early in the show... and then in the encore he goes "This one is for the home team...." and then it started. Freaking unreal.

Satans bed didnt seem as hard as the album version but it was awesome regardless....Rats was tight and seemed very rehearsed
