I'll be there. Not a bad drive for me, about 3hrs or so from Portland. I'll leave early Friday morning so traffic won't be a concern and spend the day in Hartford. Had a blast in 2010. Can't wait to do it again!

1st choice Buffalo GA 2nd choice Pitt GA........REGARDLESS my bf and I'll be at both shows. It will my first time seeing them back to back!! Good thing my bf has a # too...a good one at that! Excited for this and all to come

I will be there. I hope traffic is not bad because I will be driving from NYC to CT on a Friday afternoon :shock:. My last CT show was my 2nd, and this should be my 16th.
Traffic on a Friday afternoon into CT is going to be a nightmare, especially to Hartford.
Damn I may get out of work early or take the entire day off. I remember many people got screwed out of seeing the beginning of the 2008 show because the 10C pickup line got so long leading up to the show. I would feel terrible if I missed the start of a show.

yea thats right. The Ten Club line was slow and got backed up. I always arrive at the destination city between 3 and 4. Sometimes earlier if its a weekend.

They always bring it in Hartford. Last few tours this town has had some of the best set lists and poster art.

Nope, there was an incident in 2008 too. A fence was torn down and people were stampeding out of the place. I approached a cop and asked if it was okay to walk through that area (since it would save me time to get to my car). She just shrugged so I thought it would be fine, and many other people who I spoke to later thought the same thing. But when we were all walking in the area we all started choking and realized that pepper spray must have been sprayed right before we got there. It was terrible! Thanks for nothing Hartford cops.

That type of thing used to be common at the Meadows. Place used to be crazy. Outside the venue tailgating, not matter the show, and inside the venue. In the 90's Wu-tang Clan & Rage played there and the fense got tore down and there were fires and shit. i already told my crazy story about the girl who died tailgating at the Radio 104 fest. Even at DMB concerts the Riot police came and shot rubber bullets and tear gas.

I still have the 98 Hartford poster. Although it is in bad shape because I rushed the stage when Vedder told us to. It was in my right hand and got crumpled when we ll got bunched together. It has always been a very sought after Ames print and worth a decent buck.

I was at both shows, I remember the commotion in 2008 (I took the 10c trolley back to the Hilton) but don't remember any pepper spray. Meadows security was never without incident. Thank god for the XL Center!

City Steam is a good place, too, but I think it's farther from the XL than Black Bear. Black Bear is nice and close to the XL. I will say City Steam has great beer.

Damn I may get out of work early or take the entire day off. I remember many people got screwed out of seeing the beginning of the 2008 show because the 10C pickup line got so long leading up to the show. I would feel terrible if I missed the start of a show.

Nope, there was an incident in 2008 too. A fence was torn down and people were stampeding out of the place. I approached a cop and asked if it was okay to walk through that area (since it would save me time to get to my car). She just shrugged so I thought it would be fine, and many other people who I spoke to later thought the same thing. But when we were all walking in the area we all started choking and realized that pepper spray must have been sprayed right before we got there. It was terrible! Thanks for nothing Hartford cops.

I was at both shows, I remember the commotion in 2008 (I took the 10c trolley back to the Hilton) but don't remember any pepper spray. Meadows security was never without incident. Thank god for the XL Center!
